TaQuita Taylor MSN, APRN, FNP-C, CME

Family Nurse Practitioner, TaQuita Taylor, knew at a youthful age that she would one day own a business and end up in entrepreneurship from her late father’s guidance. TaQuita has been determined and dedicated to continuing to break generational curses. TaQuita was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana in the urban neighborhood of Brightwood. TaQuita graduated from Southport High School in 2001. During her high school curriculum, she attended Central Nine Career Center as a medical occupations student and was the president of her class. TaQuita received her bachelor’s degree of nursing in 2010 from Indiana University Kokomo and her master’s degree of nursing in 2015 from Indiana Wesleyan University.

TaQuita medical career started within  Clarian Health/IU Health System when she was just 18 years of age. During her 15 years at IU Health, she went from being a unit secretary, to a student nurse intern, then a Cardiovascular Registered Progressive Care Nurse. TaQuita has also took on other roles in her career as a sexual assault nurse, home health nurse, psychiatric nurse, Riley pediatric triage nurse, pediatric home care nurse, DOT certified medical examiner, American Red Cross CPR/First Aid Instructor, preceptor, and clinical adjunct instructor.

Through out TaQuita’s career path she also had a passion for entertaining and planning events for young children. This brought on her other business endeavor Darling Divas Kids Spa. Which was name after her late mom Darline. Darling Divas allows her to bring in her nurturing and caring qualities into entertaining where she is pampering confidence and showing young girls about self-care. Today Darling Divas is servicing Indianapolis and all surrounding cities and is the number one choice for pampering little divas in Indiana.

With TaQuita’s  20+ years medical experience and love for children, her and her Husband Patrick launched Children Express Care Clinic in December of 2020. After opening the pediatric urgent care, they gained attention of being the first Minority-Owned pediatric urgent care in the state. Not only is Children Express Care Clinic the first Minority-Owned pediatric urgent care in the state; it is the only pediatric independent urgent care in Indianapolis currently. TaQuita had no knowledge of this and opening the urgent care clinic was solely to bring quality health care to a neighborhood where health care was needed. Children Express Care Clinic services all. Everyone who walks through the door is treated like family and given quality express care.
